The artist/handle name shown on a crown or in the Hall of Fame, the track, the amount paid, and the plays/clicks for that reign are displayed publicly on the site and in shareable receipts. Your email and IP are never shown.
Account and reign records are kept while the service operates and for as long as needed for accounting and legal claims (generally up to 6 years for invoicing records under Spanish law). Session identifiers and raw IP logs are kept for a shorter period (target: 12 months) and then deleted or aggregated.
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest, by emailing privacy@takethecrown.live. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) or your local authority. Deletion may be limited where we must keep invoicing records.
We set one essential first-party cookie (lfm_sid) to make play and click counts honest. It requires no consent banner because it is strictly necessary for a feature you use. If we later add non-essential analytics or any third-party cookies, we will ask for consent first.
Some providers (e.g. Stripe) may process data outside the EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
